Anthopometry Tests - Skinfolds

Skinfold measurements will determine the percentage of bodyfat. The Skinfold sites require identifying anthropometric landmarks, by projecting aspects of bone structure on to the skin.

The sites selected must match the particular protocol being used. The four-site system is the most commonly used and is the most accurate. This system is the same for male and female subjects and has been used as the basis for the correlations in this manual.
