Aerobic Tests - 12 Minute Run

The 12 minutes walk/ run test is one of the most popular field tests of maximal aerobic power. It is a very useful test since:
  • It requires very little equipment
  • Many subjects can be tested at the same time- useful for team sports
  • It gives the subjects a functional workout
  • Researchers have demonstrated a strong correlation (90%) against laboratory measured VO2 max
